I had happened to read a thread that posted by a SGClub Member in the forum. It's a sad story and it true?!?! I can't imaging there is really such true love still exist now.
Here you go:
There was this boy and this girl. They both knew each other since they was young. As they grew older, the boy fells for this girl. He asked to be her stead that time, and she agrees. He was 14, and she was 13...As time passes, the girl family decides to sent her to overseas to further her studies. Though sad, but the boy knews that he have to let her go. She left to Australia when she was 20...They both called each other almost everyday... till one day, there was no news from the girl... he started to worries and panic...
That night, the girl called... She told him that he found another boyfriend out there, and decide to break off with him... He cried...Since then, the boy started 'abusing' himself. By getting into fights, started smoking, drinking... and he even flirt around with other girls, and having ONS... another 2 year passes...
One day, the girls returned to Singapore and decide to meet him. They both meet up... The girls was no longer the beautiful and cheerful lady as in the past. She has became thinner, and her face looks pale. But still, we treasure the moments and spent about 2 weeks together, before she going to Taiwan to transfer flight to Japan....
On the day she on-board the flight, he wanted her to stay and wanted to tell her, he still loves her. However, he got no guts to say it out. he can only quietly sent her away...That night, a news broke out which shocked him up. The plane which was departing from Taiwan to Japan had crashed!! Upon hearing this, he went about to check it. After confirming her death, he cried...
This day, he attended her funeral. Her sister came over and told him something that makes him never forget. She told him that actually while the girl was in Australia, she did not had any boyfriend. She was found to have Bone Cancer, and had not much to live. Not to worry him and make him sad, she decided to lies to him. When she was back in Singapore, she was hoping that the boy will persuade her to stays... but in the end, he did not...The boy really regrets of all this. Since then, he learnt something....
