Life is getting busier; I had finished my first module exam last week. Once after the exam finished, I start to have a new project coming in and the project timeline was a freak. At first, I was given 2 weeks to complete this project and I have 6 working days to implement it. By right I will just have to follow the project schedule which was planned. But in the end things which were planned was not go accordingly base on the schedule. We have 2 days for requirement gathering is go on schedule but once after the requirement gather we will start to set up the environment and the core architecture before we start our implementation.
Out of sudden, the day after the requirement gather the management asked for a prototype which we need to show them a working application which is NOT just the navigation. Not only this, they expected for an application which communicate to the server which not going to be on the local. It is so crazy! This project actually required at least a month or two month to complete the whole implementation. In the first place, 2 weeks to complete the project is already not reasonable.
The 4th day of implementation, guess what? I worked until 4am plus where everyone is having a good sleep and yet I still in the office doing coding, debugging, and testing the application. I took cab home and reached around 4.30am. Once I stepped in the door, my mum tells me that my eldest sister was hospitalized. I was totally shocked, I know that she is not feeling well in the morning but didn’t know it could be so serious that she vomited since morning until night. Anyway, she is alright now just a bit weak.
I didn’t talk much to her due to I too tired of working. Everyday reached home, all my family member had gone to sleep. Even Saturday, I went back to work by right I should be at home or outside shopping enjoying my weekend but I’m in the office. Gosh! Hopefully next few coming project will given a reasonable project timeline. Else I will be going to fall sick even more easily.
